Veteran's Park is located in the heart of the historic downtown business district and honors more than 1,500 Veterans whose names are displayed on the commemorative wall. In addition, an exact replica of Liberty Bell is on display to welcome visitors. Like the original, the bell weighs more than 2,700 lbs. and was cast in the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in London.

Visit the beautiful South Fork area near US Hwy. 127 south of Liberty. This small community of Mennonites has existed in this area since 1976. Considered "Old Order" Mennonites, this community of more than 300 remain traditional in their beliefs and practices. More than 20 shops - fresh produce, greenhouse, cheese, hand-made furniture, leather goods and more. Some are seasonal.

This is a place for quilters and sewers alike! With many bolts of fabric lining all walls of the store, a variety of choices await. Quilting products and pre-cut block kits also available. Hours: Mon-Sat, 8:30 am to 5 pm; holiday hours, 9 to 5:30 pm, beginning day after Thanksgiving through Christmas Eve. Closed Sunday.

In October 2005, John and Peg Thaman, opened their farm to the public. Located just west of downtown Liberty, take Hwy. 70 West, then left on Martin Road and right on Brushy Branch Road to experience this one-of-a-kind farm. This organic farm produces nutrient rich, fresh fruit through earth honoring, natural practices. They have pick-your-own blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and fruit jams for sale.

Created in 1976 to serve as the main water reservoir for the residents of Casey County, the 88-acre Lake Liberty is the perfect place to fish, canoe, or kayak. Nestled in the rolling hills just east of Liberty off of Hwy 70, the lake provides a peaceful, quiet destination to decompress & enjoy the beauty of nature. Facilities include a boat ramp & dock.
- Open Daily 6:00 a.m. to Midnight
- No Swimming
- No Fires or Picnicking
- No alcoholic beverages
- Fishing by permit only ($10 per year); available at City Hall or the Water Plant at the lake
- No gasoline engines allowed; electric (trolling) motors & paddles/oars may be used
- Boaters must have in possession U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets or vests while in boats on lake
- State litter, firearms, fish & game laws strictly enforced
- Minimum fine of $50.00 for littering
- Area patrolled for violations
- Non-compliance of rules will result in loss of membership for one year
- City of Liberty will not be responsible for any accidents
