Located in historic downtown this all-day event celebrates the importance of liberty and freedom.  Music, food and contests behind City Hall at the Village Green.   One of the region's largest fireworks display is held at dusk at the Central Kentucky AG/EXPO Center just south on US Hwy. 127.

Held annually the 4th weekend in September this festival serves the world's largest apple pie that feeds up to 10,000 people.  Antique engine display. Parade, contests, beauty pageants, music, games, carnival, food, car show, dog show, fireworks, flea market, arts & crafts.  Giant cookie, giant pizza, giant subway sandwich.
